Aquatic Therapy

Performed in a temperature-controlled pool, aquatic therapy uses the buoyancy and resistive powers of water to hasten recovery in a controlled environment that puts less pressure on your joints, thereby reducing pain and inflammation.

Our Approach

Our comprehensive program is delivered in indoor pools which are maintained at a constant 93-degree temperature.

Increase functional mobility and range of motion

Exercising in warm water is a gentle and effective way to achieve improvement of function in day-to-day activities. Buoyancy offers a tremendous advantage because it reduces the effects of gravity allowing for increased joint range of motion.

Decrease pain

Our heated pools increase mobility, strength, and conditioning, while decreasing muscle tightness and reducing joint swelling.

Advanced technology

Some of our locations have in-water treadmills, allowing earlier recovery following surgery or injury versus land-based therapy.

The aquatic therapy is the best!
My physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and pain management experiences were very positive. They were always caring, and delivered the best care I've ever had.
